School Community

Parents and Friends

Parents are acknowledged as the primary educators of their children. Parents are actively involved in the life of Maria Regina in a variety of ways. Parents and caregivers participate in the life of the school and Parish through the Sacramental Programs, Liturgies and Masses, Parish Ministries, Parent Information Sessions and by joining Parent Committees. Parents are always enthusiastic visitors at assemblies, as helpers in our classrooms, sports and the Learning Resource Centre.

The parent community supports a number of initiatives throughout the year organised with the asssistance of the Class Parent Network. These include Mother’s Day Stall, Father’s Day Breakfast, Welcome to New Families Cocktail Night and a variety of other school and grade functions. Visit our Video Gallery page or the News and Events Section to view some of the events the Maria Regina community are involved in.

The Parents & Friends Association meet regularly to provide social and financial support. A member of the P & F Executive is a representative on the Diocesan Parent Council.
