As a Catholic primary school based on Sydney’s northern beaches, Catholic values are interwoven into our everyday learning. We promote a Catholic worldview, teaching care and respect for every person and all of creation.
Our mission is to model the Gospel values of inclusion, compassion, dignity, justice and service.
Our teachers, families and staff are deeply committed to working together to build a community of disciples of Jesus.
Since the opening of Maria Regina in 1959 by the Good Samaritan Sisters, we always strive to “make a difference.” School life is based on Gospel values where the worth of each individual is recognised.
Maria Regina students are encouraged to respond to the invitation of the call to Catholic discipleship. Students are free to reflectively respond to God’s action in our world and in our lives.
All members of the school leadership team are faithful Catholics who embrace the Catholic mission of the school by leading and inspiring their staff and school families.
This is our school,
Let peace dwell here.
Let love abide here,
Love of God,
Love of self,
Love of others.
Let us remember,
That as many hands build a home,
So many hearts build a school.
